Brutie was a gift from a family member when he was a year old, and pretty much adopted Gramma Stina within a short period of time in the home. Gramma Stina observed enough of Bruties behaviors to realize that some people may actually enjoy reading about his exploits. While, not exactly like the Brutie in the stories, they mischeivous behavior is enough like other cats to be relatable for many readers.
