Milt Bighley, Nel E. Sherk, and "Gramma" Stina Dee are having a book launch at the Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library, 101 1st St SE Crosby, MN 56441, on May 2, 2026. Drop in anytime between 10:30 a.m and 1:00 p.m. to meet them, purchase books onsite, and get free autographs. There will be coloring pages, door prizes, readings by Milt and Gramma Stina at 11:00, and a drawing for a Brutie & Me Activity Kit at 12:45 p.m. (need not be present to win/no purchase necessary).
Milt had an adventure to Alaska, with his real cat, which inspired a non-fiction chapter book written through the eyes of the cat, for a fourth grade reading level and up, by the name of Mr Snuggles Goes to Alaska.
Nel E. Sherk is the author of fictional romance novellas such as Beyond Our Control, A Mission of Love, Boundaries, and many more, for the slightly advanced reader of a young adult age and up.
Stina Dee will debut her first book, Brutie & Me: The Mystery of the Missing Locket, for the less advanced reader of a second through fourth grade reading level, with engaging content for the entire family.
